The X Series.
Had this idea of the shot while daydreaming @office today! All details were thought and everything was pre-planned (in my head of course), even made a small diagram on a bit of paper.
Idea of the shot: Form a X with flash under a X series camera and some fill light on the camera itself, sounded very simple then, actually was once you have everything ready or at hand! 😛
The setup: Two flashes (Yongnuo 560III and 560IV) setup in slave mode 1/64th power, zoomed all the way to 105mm, with a grid and color gels (blue and orange). Flash heads flagged with boxes and anything lying around at home 😀 to keep the light from spreading. A small circular pipe to hold the camera and create the shadows! Yeah the X!! Now to keep the on camera flash from spilling too much light on the X100T, it had an +2 flash exposure compensation and was fired through a small circular tube (all hand held).
and after some 96 shots trying to get the proper spot light, had some two great clicks! 🙂
Post processing: Blue enhanced to create a bit more contrast on the top left corner, sharpened, and cropped!
